Organizational Member Types

Child Care Resource & Referral (CCR&R)
Agency providing resource and referral services. These agencies bridge the gap between parents, providers, community leaders and policymakers.

State Network Agency
Designated by its state, a State Network manages, coordinates or provides the contracts to CCR&Rs for services funded by the state (and possibly other funders as well).

Government Agency
Organizations supporting early care and education that wish to participate in Child Care Aware® of America (CCAoA). This is for government agencies that are not a CCR&R or State Network.  

Non-Profits Supporting Child Care

Nonprofit organizations supporting children and their families. This category is for nonprofit organizations that are not a local CCR&R or State Network.


Individual Member Types

Child Care Resource & Referral
Professional: Staff professionals who work for a Child Care Resource and Referral agency. This is an individual category meant for agency staff.

State Network Agency Staff
Professionals who work for a State Network Agency. This is an individual category meant for agency staff.

Child Care Provider Staff

Professionals who work for a child care provider. This is an individual category meant for agency staff.

Student
Available to full-time college and university students who are interested in a career focused on children and their families. (Must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours at the time of their application).

Individual

This category is for individuals who work as consultants, educators, or suppliers of products and services.
